Morphine Raum,
Köpenicker Str. 147, 10997 Berlin
Hinterhof 1. Etage

After the remarkable success of his Berlin concert last November, Egyptian violinist and composer Ayman Asfour returns to the city to celebrate the release of his album Sardy Fardy.

The album presents original compositions inspired by the richness of Egyptian musical heritage, where expressive, story-like melodies unfold within rhythmic structures built on odd meters—creating a sound that is both deeply rooted and refreshingly contemporary. The album was composed between Alexandria and Brooklyn and was produced with the support of the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC).

For this special evening at Morphine Raum, Ayman reunites with the musicians who helped shape the unforgettable sound of his previous Berlin performance.
Ayman Asfour – Violin
Bakr Khleifi – Oud
George Crotty – Cello
Salam Elhassan – Percussion

Together, they will bring Sardy Fardy to life through a performance that moves between composition, improvisation, and the timeless spirit of Egyptian music.

If you are drawn to authenticity, musical storytelling, and contemporary interpretations of Egyptian traditions, this is a concert not to be missed.
