The Düsseldorf-Berlin band Kreidler will perform for two evenings at Morphine Raum.

Now active for 30 years, Kreidler’s latest album Twists (a visitor arrives) was released early in 2024: “An affair of electronic pop music nurtured in now-clubs and rooted in Rhenish kraut, British post-punk – with a touch of NYC and Brussels – and international polyrhythm.”

On each evening at Morphine Raum the band will present a different and unique program, featuring various tracks from the new album, established repertoire, and new improvisations in a rhythmic style. This new material is likely to be the starting point for a next album, and the live sessions will be recorded.

Kreidler are Thomas Klein on percussions, Alex Paulick on bass, Andreas Reihse on synths.

The evenings will feature guest appearances from poet Seda Mimaroğlu and saxophonist Timuçin Dündar.

Seda Mimaroğlu is an artist/poet/researcher from Istanbul with an academic background in literature, art history, law and philosophy. She has participated in many exhibitions and events with multimodal works and has published widely in various outlets, regularly collaborating with artists, musicians and researchers. Mimaroğlu lives in Berlin.

Hailing from a classical music background, Timuçin Dündar has been blending a variety of genres and techniques de jeu whilst engaging in a wide range of formations over the past three decades. After wowing stop-and-stays in Düsseldorf and Istanbul, his musical journey has brought him back to Berlin where he is exploring the sonic fields of experimental improvisation with his band Primitive Structures.
