Continuum is a new performance by Yiannis Loukos and burgund t brandt, in which vibrating metal and a bowed string create sound spaces of attentive listening. Loukos stages the raw physicality of his sound sculptures, while btb slowly extracts porous harmonies and shimmering tones from her monochord and develops them through subtle electronic transformations. The piece unfolds as a joint field of research into resonance, tension, and space, inviting the audience into a floating, meditative state in which sound is perceived as both tangible and fragile.
